Love Lamp How - To

With Valentines Day right around the corner, we thought that you might like to make a little "Love Lamp".  We found a lampshade discounted in one of our favorite Dept. Stores, and it all began. Then, we found a lamp base at a second hand shop.

We began by mixing the paint to match the color of the design in the shade. Keep in mind, that if you can't find an Old Town Paint color that is exactly what you need to match a fabric that it is quite easy to create it! So....no matter what the piece you are re-painting, it is sure to be perfectly matched. It is not only easy....but fun when you are using Old Town Paints products!

L O V E Letters

With just a week to go before Valentine's Day,  we are are going to show you how to create "L O V E  Letters". We are using paper mache L O V E Letters painted in an "ombre" style.

Then.....think of doing a larger piece, such as a piece of furniture.  It is not only easy....but fun when you are using Old Town Paints products!

The "ombre" style of painting is fun whether you are using it on a small project such as this one, or something larger. We simply start with the darkest shade onthe bottom and work our way up to the top lightening the colors as we go.
